As a Gold Level performer, the Fort Worth PCC functions at the top of its game.
This includes taking advantage of all available resources, maintaining sound business practices, conducting a variety of educational programs, implementing creative strategies that increase membership, and making continuous improvements to enhance the value of the Fort Worth PCC membership.
The Fort Worth Postal Customer Council’s membership is in Fort Worth, Arlington, Denton, Hurst, Euless, Bedford and the surrounding areas. The success of the Fort Worth PCC comes from outstanding teamwork and member participation. What makes this team great is that members share responsibility, all participate in idea generation, problem solving, and decision-making, while showing support, respect, and trust for one another to reach shared goals. It takes the focus of everyone to keep the content interesting and beneficial for its membership. Through the dedication and hard work of the Fort Worth Postal Customer Council Team we have achieved proven success with numerous best practices.
“For the past four years we have remained as a National Gold Level PCC.”
Some of these best practices include holding events that provide information that is educational, help attendees grow their business, give attendees the opportunity to meet local Postal representatives, have speakers that are knowledgeable about the topics that are important to the mailing industry, are at locations that attendees find interesting and that offer networking opportunities.
The Fort Worth PCC continues to reach out and help other PCC’s become established. As Industry Co Chair, I have assisted several PCC with their start up efforts as have some of our other board members and gave presentations on ways to grow PCC membership through the use of direct mail. At the 2008 National Postal Forum, along with Michael Furey, District Manager Northern Virginia District, we conducted a presentation titled Connecting with Your Community. This presentation focused on ways to help PCC’s increase attendance and membership by reaching more business mailers through Direct Mail. It also gave attendees tools to use to promote the benefits of membership and foster a solid and lasting PCC program. At nationalpcc.com you can find everything you need to start a new PCC or enhance an existing PCC. This is the location where you can find the latest most up to date information on any educational topic or program in the mailing industry.
